Software Developer C++
· Produce clear, concise, well thought out technical designs from requirements and present these to other members of the team.
·
· Provide high quality documentation in support of delivered software as specified in project plans
· Ensure that software delivered to the Quality Assurance team is error free and meets the requirements specification
· Take ownership of faults raised against the software suite, investigate and resolve the faults in an efficient and effective manner
· Continually look for ways to improve the processes and standards used by the Software Development team
· A good educational background
· A MicrosoftÒ WindowsÒ developer with a minimum of 3 years programming experience spanning C++, VB6 and Visual Basic .Net
· Experience of working with relational databases on any platform
· Experienced in the use of COM, DCOM and ATL
· The ability to work on multiple tasks, prioritizing and organizing these tasks to maximize productivity.
· Excellent understanding of client server application design and development techniques and architecture, including industry best practice and object orientated design.
Desirable
* Knowledge of C#, ODBC, OLAP, MDX
* Knowledge of SQL
* Knowledge of the Customer Relationship Management Industry, and the associated strategies deployed in this marketing space
* Knowledge and experience in the use of Windows Installer technology
* Experience of working in a SCRUM environment
