Java, J2EE Software Engineer
Specify, architect and implement software solutions to meet internal and external requirements for commercial enterprise-class J2EE application software for the retail industry. Prepare functional and technical specifications for new software features and improve existing software products. Build and execute unit, functional, integration and regression tests and test plans. Communicate with QA, other development teams, partners and customers to support commercial enterprise software products for the Retail industry. Employer will accept Bachelors degree in C.S, Eng., Business, Math, Physics or related technical field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Education or experience must include 1) Design, develop, test/QA, implement and maintain commercial enterprise-class application software for the Retail industry utilizing Java, J2EE architecture, Unix Scripting, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, SQL & PL/SQL Stored Procedures on Oracle databases, Unix on multiple platforms, & real -time, multi-tasking operating systems. 2) Experience in object oriented methodology, agile software development, model-driven development, static code analysis and metrics-driven development. 3) Specify & architect software solutions that meet internal and external requirements while adhering to framework decisions and design standards, 4) ability to design, code, integrate, unit test, document and lead teams to end-to-end delivery of commercial J2EE enterprise software for the Retail industry.
