, MA Sr. Software Engineer

· Develop and deploy LogPad and SitePad client applications according to specifications

· Integrate LogPad and SitePad applications with the StudyWorks project specific databases

· Participate as the software development member of a project team lead by a Project Manager and including contributors from SQE and Data Delivery

· Contribute to the development of specifications, planning and deployment scheduling process and fulfill software development steps in a timely manner

· Update and improve the functionality of standard libraries and development of semi-custom implementations for specific clients

Education Minimum:Four year Computer Sciences Degree or equivalent experience.

· 4-7 years of C/C++ application development experience using C/C++ or Java involving all aspects of the application

· Full software development experience, from specification to delivery

· Independent, responsible individual who can rapidly develop quality applications

· Ability to learn quickly, work in a team environment, and demonstrate a quality attitude

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Ability to interact with customers on teleconferences and in-person meetings

· Experience developing applications on hand-held devices or in environments where programming constraints limit use of memory and system resources

· Java development experience

· Experience developing applications with XML, HTML CSS, JavaScript and other Web technologies

· Experience developing software for clinical trials or the pharmaceutical industry.

· Developing software in a regulated environment (ISO 9001, FDA 21 CFR Part 11)

· Visual C++, CodeWarrior, NetBeans, Eclipse, Visual Basic, ClearCase, SubVersion, ClearQuest, XML, XSL, SQL, Accurev
