Software Architect
* Owns the development architecture plan, timelines, and deliverables associated with all software releases
* Researches, designs, and reviews software to ensure they are to appropriate specifications
* Works closely with Product Management, Software Quality Assurance, Project Management and Application Development functions in the planning and execution of software releases
* Collects and reports on development metrics to provide transparency on project status and identify opportunities for improvement
* Continually solicits feedback and input on areas requiring optimization or refactoring
* Directs and mentors developers in industry best practices, procedures, and concepts
* B.S. in Computer Science or related major desired, M.S. preferred
* 10+ years experience in the complete software development lifecycle
* 10+ years experience in J2EE, Linux, web application development, SaaS, high availability, multi-tenant environment
* 5+ years experience with Oracle database
* TIBCO Spotfire experience preferred
* Recognized leader in building and developing teams
* Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience working with pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device companies and an understanding of FDA 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, and ISO 9000 or CMM is preferred but not required
* Master's Degree in computer science or related field with a minimum 9 years relevant work experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
