Senior Software Developer
* This role provides the opportunity to participate in the design and implementation of a complex application utilised in testing multi-service IP networks.
* Design and implement network protocols and emulated applications, taking customer requirements, deadlines and published standards into consideration.
* Integrate code into a proprietary networking stack where performance and scalability are critical.
* Work independently or as part of a team within Engineering helping to meet the goals of the Engineering team.
* Excellent development skills with a minimum of 5 years experience developing in 'C' on Linux or embedded 'C'.
* Experience with IP-based networking protocols and standards a strong plus.
* Experience of working in a team, adhering to team practices and coding standards to produce robust and maintainable software solutions.
* Self-motivator with an analytical mind to solve complex problems.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Educated to degree level in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
