Sr. Software Engineer - .NET
* Provide technical direction to junior team members as well work with team leads to design and implement reusable components and frameworks
* Review and contribute to the development of requirements, technical specifications and design documentation.
* Continually improve and refine the end-to-end web development process Integrate third-party technologies and frameworks for use on the web.
* 7+ years’ experience working within a software engineering environment.
* 5+ years’ experience with Microsoft .NET using C#.
* 5+ years of User Interface experience designing and developing web based UI components/framework and or applications. Previous experience developing UI Framework for a web based product.
* 5 years’ experience with DHTML (JavaScript, DOM, CSS, HTML, AJAX).
* Strong Familiarity with presentation layer frameworks.
* Experience writing unit and functional level tests for code at all layers of development.
* Expert HTML/XHTML and CSS skills with strong interest in user interface design.
* Experience hand coding UI design mockups using HTML/XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
* Work with the team to design, develop and enhance user interface frameworks and infrastructure
* Positive attitude and willingness to take the initiative on tasks
* Strong knowledge of Internet Technologies, IIS server and backend/database development.
* Experience with Transact-SQL.
* Experience with XML and related technologies.
* Experience developing unit tests as an integral part of the software development process.
* Familiarity with accessing and developing web services.
* Experience designing and developing large scale, fault-tolerant and high performance distributed applications.
* Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in Computer Science is a plus.
