Systems Software Engineer
* Work on CTO led projects for new concept/prototype/product developments.
* Act as a subject matter expert in various leading edge technologies for networking, virtualization and cloud computing.
* Rapidly capture trends and requirements in the industry space, for the delivery of novel product solutions to address new opportunities.
* Provide traditional Systems Engineering support to both Engineering and field based Support Teams, working with the leading Networking / Cloud equipment vendors and Service Providers.
* BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of development/engineering/technical experience.
* Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
* Strong sense of ownership, ability to work in a dynamic environment in a small team with minimal supervision.
* Systems development experience in Linux or UNIX.
* C, scripting (bash, python, perl), experience with web programming (javascript, php, web services such as xml-rpc a plus).
* Strong Networking background, Solid understanding of current web and internet technologies.
