IT Systems Engineer

Engage business application stake holders and system administrators to assist with support as necessary

Work closely with the Operations group to ensure systems run at peak performance

Plan and execute server hardware, software, or network equipment upgrades
*
Two Year Associates or four year college degree, MIS, IT, Computer Science, Technology or three to five years related experience
*
Independent problem solving/troubleshooting skills
*
Experience supporting large, multi-user hardware and software platforms
*
Extensive experience in software installation and troubleshooting
*
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate well with both internal users and peers
*
Microsoft Windows Server 200x/Active Directory
*
Microsoft SQL Server
*
VMware server virtualization
*
Storage
*
Citrix XenApp application virtualization
*
Network services (IP, DNS, DHCP)
*
Client configuration and image management
*
Cisco router and switch configuration
*
Google Apps Premier collaboration suite
