Programmer
REQUIRED SKILLS
Create, modify, and test the code, forms, and script that allow computer applications to run. Work from specifications drawn up by software developers or other individuals. Assist software developers by analyzing user needs and designing software solutions. Develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information. Correct errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced. Write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs such as tracking, storing or retrieving data, or controlling other processes. Write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic.
Minimum 5 years programming experience focusing on healthcare domains. Technical experience must have included the following: Programming Languages: SQL, VB.NET, C#.NET, ASP.NET, HTML, XML, JQuery, AJAX; Frameworks: .Net Framework through 4.0; Software Tools: Visual Studio 2008/2010, SSIS, SSRS, IIS Client, ClearCase, ClearQuest, BMC’s Remedy; Databases: Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008R2; Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003/2008, Windows 7; General Qualifications: Object oriented programming; Web and windows services, including usage and experience with WCF; Use of internet, windows and automated console applications; Knowledge of applicable security and data encryption; Capable of working in both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies; Comfortable with SDLC documentation including logical and physical data design, application architecture and design, unit and integration testing modeling
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related
