Front-End Developer
* Work closely with copy, design and internal clients to conceptualize and execute visual concepts for digital direct response marketing campaigns
* Understand core business needs and apply strategic thinking to create innovative web development solutions for delivery on a variety of devices and platforms
* Monitor emerging technologies and recommend applications, where appropriate, to increase the effectiveness of marketing materials and efficiency of internal processes
* Coordinate activities of developer and creative team members and keep administrative and management representatives apprised of ongoing status
* Oversee and coordinate the efforts of extended development teams, including contract and offshore resources
* 6+ years of agency (or equivalent) working as a web developer coding and building transactional consumer websites
* BA/BS in related area of expertise or equivalent
* Mastery of SEO compliant CSS and responsive design techniques
* Strong familiarity with mobile platforms and app development
* Proficiency in user experience principles
* Strong conceptual thinker, with the ability to take ideas and/or mock ups and execute in HTML while retaining/enhancing, with attention to detail for the design and user experience
* Expertise in cross-browser compatibility issues and thorough understanding of current HTML and JavaScript standards and best practices, including responsive design, user interaction and image optimization for the web
with direct marketing techniques and principles is a strong plus
