DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER/C++ Programmer

Effectively utilize C++ programming skills/capabilities to develop/improve software applications for customized gauging systems.
*
Use of sound judgment and disciplined engineering practices to solve specific problems by applying professional experience, work knowledge, and abilities.
*
Ability to work independently to investigate, evaluate, select, and apply theories, concepts, principles and processes related to gauging software technology.
*
Keeps abreast of precision metrology/gauging technology and developments affecting the company's products and processes.
*
Ability to create, troubleshoot and maintain gauging software technology and precision metrology methods to support the company's global manufacturing plants and product lines to prevent quality problems and ensure appropriate in-process inspection controls.
*
Applies analysis methodologies for solving gauging software issues in product manufacturing.
*
Supports global manufacturing facilities on gauging software usage; improves system capabilities, develops acceptance criteria, and defines new quality specifications/inspection standards using precision metrology methods.
* Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related and minimum 5 years of related experience.
* Highly skilled C++ programming knowledge with proven software development experience.
