.Java Developer • 3+ years Java experience. • Must have excellent documentation, collaboration and communication skills. • Experience with a structured code management process (Subversion, Maven, Sonar, Jenkins/CI, Nexus, ANT) • Excellent problem solver. • Experience with Java 1.6 and it’s concepts (generics, annotations) • Solid understanding of OO concepts and best practices. • Proven experience with designing and developing complex technical solutions in Java, with maintenance and simplicity in mind. • Experience with integration patterns and frameworks; data integration, web services • Experience with Java based frameworks/APIs, such as Spring, Guava • JAX-RS (RESTEasy) and JAX-WS preferred; Apache AXIS or CXF a plus • WSDL creation and understanding • Experience with testing frameworks like Junit and TestNG • Expertise in database development using SQL and persistence frameworks. • Experience with high performance distributed internet and extranet platforms and infrastructures • Application Servers: Tomcat 7, Jetty, JBoss, IBM WebSphere 8 • Server Operating Systems: Windows Server 2008+, Linux, AIX or Unix variant • Must be capable of providing thought leadership to other developers and be constantly improving processes and techniques • B.S Degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Experience in mobile technologies such as Adobe AIR, native iOS/Android, and other hybrid frameworks. • Experience with Adobe Enterprise products like Livecycle ES3, CQ/CRX, Form and Data Services. • Knowledge of other languages such as C#, Objective C, and Scala • HTML 5 • Experience working in an Agile team environment. • Experience using a MAC • Insurance experiences • Experience with middleware products such as ESBs and process engines.
