Software Engineer
* Write front-end code in JSP, PHP, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS
* Implement new features and optimize existing ones from controller-level to UI
* Work closely with back-end engineers to design, develop and maintain server side and client side Java based applications
* Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems. Write quality code that meets company’s business requirements.
* Pro-actively look for ways to make our sites and applications better. Provide technical direction and evaluation of different technologies
* Bachelors/Masters in CS or related field, or equivalent work experience. Understanding of CS concepts such as: common data structures and algorithms, profiling/optimization.
* 3-5 years of work experience with Java/J2EE technologies, web frameworks such as Spring MVC, JSP, Struts, REST, Quartz.
* Solid understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, cookies, headers, asset loading / caching)
* Disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
* Experience with RDBMS technologies (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
