Software Engineer .NET C#
* Business specific analysis, technical design, and coding in an Agile environments
* Working on a team that designs, develops and maintains commercial software components, reports and datamarts
* Analyzing and solving complex business problems
* Troubleshooting applications and quickly resolving production issues
* Assisting team members and product users with problems
* One (1) to three (3) years of experience in application/web development in the .NET framework (C#) required
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required
* Strong problem solving skills required
* Ability to understand processes by reading code required
* Experience with SQL Server 2008 required
* Project and goal-oriented mindset required
* Exceptional attention to detail, strong time management skills, and ability to meet short deadlines required
* Basic understanding of accounting preferred
* Review requirements and work with team and product owner to ensure each requirement is testable
* Ensure test environment is set up and working prior to QC cycle
* Attend daily Scrum meetings
* Provide estimates of testing effort during the sprint planning meeting
* Develop and maintain test plans and test cases
* Execute regression and functional tests
* Run manual tests and develop automated regression tests
* Create SQL queries to perform back-end testing
* Record, track and manage defects
* BA/BS degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field required
* Understanding of Software Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes and practices required
* Well versed in all testing methodologies (system, functional, black vs. white box) required
* Strong understanding of the Software Development/Testing Life Cycle (STLC/SDLC) required
* Knowledge of database concepts and client server technology required
* Detail oriented with good problem solving skills required
* Strong verbal and written communication skills required
* Ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment required
