PHP Developer
* Design, develop, and maintain PHP based in-house tools and backend systems
* Identify suboptimal code and refactor accordingly
* Provide unit tests and code-level documentation for all new tasks and refactors
* Actively participate in the team's scrum and development processes
* Develop training materials and help documentation for systems that get created
* Stay abreast of best practices by, researching new tools, enhancing and evolving new and existing tools
* 4~6 years of experience and a strong passion for the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, & PHP) development stack
* Working knowledge of memory object caching technologies such as Memcached
* Experience designing, querying, and updating both RDBMS and NoSQL data stores like MySQL, MongoDB, and Couchbase
* Ability to design unit tests with PHPUnit and document source with phpDocumentor
* Knowledge of web service development and consumption (SOAP, XML Feeds, ReST, etc)
* Experience implementing a popular PHP based MVC framework for a high volume commerce or online gaming site (Zend Framework, CodeIgnitor, Magento, CakePHP, etc)
* Familiarity with common PHP design patterns and their implementation
* Ability to effectively use source control systems such as Subversion (SVN), and Mercurial
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or the equivalent in experience
