Software Developer

Lead all aspects of delivery of reporting solutions including business requirements, solution design, system configuration & development, testing, and solution deployment.

Work closely with business groups to support their reporting needs. Also, liaise between technical and business groups and be able to translate user and functional requirements into design specifications

Coordinating installations and upgrades with infrastructure/Basis team (in conjunction with Informatics Project Management).
* Bachelors Degree in computer science, software engineering or similar field. Bachelors Degree in other fields with equivalent work experience considered. Masters Degree is a plus
* 5+ years of “hands-on” experience in SAP BW implementations and expert understanding of SAP BW is required
* Customization skills - Data source enhancements, Generic extractors, User Exits configuration and customization, transformations and DTPs, Update/Transfer rules modifications
* Reporting skills - Strong knowledge of BEx Query Designer, Calculated & Restricted Key Figures Exceptions, RRI jumps, Conditions, Exceptions, Queries on Multi Providers, Web Application Designer, JavaScript
* Experience with SAP BusinessObjects BI toolset is helpful but not required
* ABAP coding experience is required; user exits, routines, custom programs and function modules. Ability to do very complex ABAP coding is a big plus
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate highly technical content in simple terms to the business users
* Self-starter that is motivated to drive solutions with the ability to think proactively and design solutions in a scalable manner
* Great team player with a collaborative working style
