Senior Software Developer
Analyzes, develops, unit tests and document code in order to meet business requirements
Attends sprint planning, sprint review and daily scrum meetings
Assists Production Support team as needed to help resolve issues that arise in production environment
Works with DevOps, quality assurance, and DBAs to ensure code is working according to business needs and properly checked-in/merges following established procedures
Communicates remaining hours for sprint tasks to project management
Provides production support during warranty period for recently deployed code
5-8 years of software development experience
Strong analytical skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to work well within a team and lead others
Experience with Visual Studio 2012 and Microsoft Team Foundation Server
Strong experience building Internet applications in ASP.NET with C#
Knowledge on OOP, OOAD, Design Patterns, as well as the ability to read some basic UML Diagrams, as well as Architectural frameworks
Ability to give an acceptable design for a software application
Must be self-motivated person and be able to work with little support/direction from others
Must have strong debugging skills
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 with T-SQL scripts and stored procedures
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Technologies Preferred: WCF, MVC, Web Services, NHibernate and jQuery
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a similar field of study or equivalent experience
