Senior Research Engineer
· Design and implement industry leading biometric algorithms.
· Collaborate with research teams in France.
· Work with software development teams to productize algorithms.
· Present research design ideas
· Support benchmarks
· Provide research technical support to proposals as required.
· Work with universities if required on biometric projects.
· Follow coding standards and determined by engineering management.
· Create patent disclosures as required.
· Mentor research engineers
· Evaluate biometric algorithms from other companies as required.
· Work on more complex algorithms as determined by Research Management
· PHD in Applied Mathematics or Image/Signal Processing or Biometric Engineering or related fields (ECE/CS)
· Minimum 5 years of research experience in pattern recognition, machine learning and statistics/probability
· Minimum 5 years of software/algorithm development in C/C++ programming
· Experience with fingerprint/palmprint
· Good communication and presentation skills
· Highly organized and capable of multi-tasking
