Software Developer
Development of System and Application software for our products (multi-function displays, chart plotters, radars, auto pilots, instruments)
Develop software for a variety of target platforms
Assist with project planning, estimation, triage, etc
Identify and manage software-related risks so that effect on functionality or delivery is minimised.
Coordinate with other software engineers to ensure the successful launch of products.
Interact with beta testers, product support engineers and other customers in troubleshooting and problem resolution
Perform maintenance activities and software/feature upgrades for products already in production
User interface design
Software architecture
Programming on windows, linux and embedded platforms ,mainly in C/C++
Electronics, Computer Science or equivalent degree
Sufficient experience in C++ design and development to be able to develop software for complex multi- threaded object oriented real time systems through the complete software lifecycle.
Experience of system debugging
A good understanding of electronic hardware design is desirable.
A knowledge of Nokia Qt is desirable.
Marine industry experience is desirable.
Experience of and ability to work as part of a team.
