This position is responsible for a variety of software engineering responsibilities, including requirements, design, code, test, and integration of real-time embedded software Systems.
The selected candidate will use knowledge of the software engineering discipline, processes and tools in order to complete and ensure compliance of various software projects. This individual will be a member of a cross-functional development team where communication and teaming skills are highly valued.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
C/C++ programming, integration and testing experience.
Understanding of software architectures, design methods & development process is preferred.
Matlab/Simulink or other modeling tools expertise is a plus.
An understanding of the issues associated with real-time, embedded software design & development is a plus.
Understanding of inertial navigation technology & GPS is a plus.
Demonstrated leadership skills and initiative.
Excellent communication skills preferred.
