Java Backend Developer
This position requires expertise in Java, hands-on experience with web-application frameworks, and experience in database development, using either Oracle and/or PostgreSQL. Experience working on web applications for Enterprise or Internet application is desired. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a collaborative team are also necessary. This position also carries the commitment to consistently deliver high-quality software. This means working to meet deadlines and understanding how to balance the requirement to deliver on schedule with a passion to build great products.
Qualifications
Education: BA/BS Computer Science/Software Engineering
Expertise in Java programming
3 years of experience implementing the back end of enterprise web applications
Experience in the implementation of one or more enterprise-scale applications
Experience in the use of one or more web application frameworks
Proficiency in programming to one or more database interfaces
Familiarity with one or more application servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, and WebSphere
Experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks
Familiarity with object-relational mapping
