Software Engineer Intern
• Create and maintain software applications as assigned
• Follow development process documents for software creation
• Create design specifications for each component created
• Work with customers and technical support to resolve product issues
• Research new technologies
• Execute test plans
• Log defects in the defect tracking tool
• Other duties as assigned
• Bachelor's degree in a computer related discipline (Computer Science, Computer engineering, Information Systems, etc) or equivalent work experience. Valid work experience includes design and coding with modern software development tools and languages such as: CFML, Java, .Net, Oracle, SQL Server, HTML/DHTML/XML/CSS, JavaScript, etc.
• Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to constructive criticism
• Ability to use objected oriented principles preferred.
• Experience with development tools such as InstallShield, Dreamweaver, Eclipse, Subversion, and Bugzilla preferred.
• Experience with Oracle and /or Microsoft SQL Server preferred.
• Software Development Lifecycle experience preferred
