Software Engineer - Linux
Develop Embedded Linux applications and customize Linux kernels for the mass spectrometry control and data acquisition
Bring-up code/systems in lab and test software builds
Write engineering documentation such as requirements, specifications, interfaces, test-procedures and design documents
Maintain source code for releases
Work with field support in troubleshooting and reproducing customer issues
Minimum Requirements or Qualifications: A minimum of a BS in Chemistry or Computer Science required. The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience working with instrumentation, medical or analytical instruments.
BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, Chemistry.
Bring-up experience in lab environment
Should be able to demonstrate solid programming aptitude and thinking. C++ is great fit.
Working knowledge of source control management systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
