Software Engineer – Java
Function as technical lead for the development of our commercial software products while coding on a day-to-day basis
Design, prototype and implement algorithms based on defined business rules
Document and review specifications and software design artifacts
Participate in product requirements workshops, design reviews and code reviews
Lead and coordinate development activities of software developers in other locations
Participate in iteration planning, product backlog prioritization and effort estimation
BS/MS in Computer Science, Physic, Mathematics or EE.
8+ years of solid hands on Java (primary language) - C/C++/C# language programming is a plus
Expert in developing Core Java Desktop Applications (POJOs) and Multi-tier Scalable Enterprise applications - AWS Cloud applications expertise is a plus
OOP, Design Patterns, and expertise in UML methodologies is a must
KendoUI, REST API, BigData, SQL, High Performance Computing, and JavaScript is a plus
5+ years of development using Agile software development methodologies
Experience working with geographically distributed teams is a must
Solid, hands-on experience with the Eclipse IDE
Excellent verbal, and written communication skills
A highly motivated fast learner who can work independently with minimal guidance
