Java Developer
Job Description:
· Enhancing a server-side data processing system
· Reviewing code written by other team members
· Providing solutions and recommendations
· Work in conjunction with other team members
· Key member of the Java team
· Need ability to communicate effectively
· Need flexibility to adapt to a dynamic environment
Basic Qualifications:
· Must be a US Citizen with ability to obtain/retain a security clearance
· 5+ years development experience using Java 1.5 or greater
· 2+ years development experience using SQL in building server-side solutions
· Experience with relational database (Oracle PL/SQL)
· Ability to model a concept to a database diagram
· Experience with Object-Relational tools (e.g. MyBatis/Hibernate)
· Experience building scalable enterprise-level products
· Knowledge of patterns and object-oriented design and analysis
· Experience with thread-safe coding techniques
· Experience with XML/XSL/JAXB/CSS
· Experience with Spring and other workflow tools
· Experience with web/app servers (WebLogic/Tomcat)
· Working knowledge of both Windows and Unix/Linux environments
· Working knowledge of build tools (Maven/Ant)
· Knowledge of web services (SOAP/REST) and WSDL
· Knowledge of packaging (jar/war/ear)
