Programmer/Analyst (Java)
Responsibilities
Perform Administration of Credit applications, such as testing upgrades and migrating patches into production as well as daily support and maintenance activities
Develop integrations with other systems using Java, scripting, Web services, API toolkits, etc.
Support unit testing, regression testing in QA, and deployment to Production Environments
Experience with performance planning and performance monitoring and troubleshooting
Involvement in multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Interface directly with customers to gather requirements and figure out solutions to their needs
Interface with multiple vendors in terms of vendor relations, bug-tracking, and technical issue resolution
Hands on experience with relational databases
Support Credit Program Management in pursuing enhancement requests and vendor escalations
Manage process, requirements, and regression testing documentation
Manage change control process and standards compliance
Proven experience supporting & troubleshooting complex systems
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to work with customers to prioritize issues & communicate status
Self-starter, capable of seeing projects/fixes through to completion
Partnering and collaborating with various internal groups
Working with management and business partners to identify, estimate and prioritize solutions
Ability to multi-task and work effectively across multiple deliverables
Demonstrated experience with change management and configuration policies
Experience in working with vendors to troubleshoot issues and devise solutions
Work with other IT organizations to resolve issues, communicate outages, etc.
Work with other IT organizations to monitor applications and services
Responsible for product installs, upgrades, patches, configurations using change control procedures.
Ability to design, implement, debug, and execute solutions that meet specifications.
Program JavaScript or BeanShell required to build forms and processes
Effective analytical, business process, and problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize/communicate conflicting demands
Provide on-call support
Configure, execute, and schedule import jobs
Communicate with ERP teams to resolve file delivery or data extract issues
Develop and maintain 3 year roadmap for the overall platform.
Minimum Requirements
6+ years experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems
Critical Skills
3+ years experience Scripting languages for automations/integrations JavaScript, BeanShell, .NET, etc.
Experience in full life cycle system development including: design, building, testing, deployment, upgrade and support
2+ projects through the full system support lifecycles to a Production environment, including deployment of new applications or major upgrades to existing applications.
4+ years of experience on Windows server environment (Windows 2000 and above) including Windows Networking
2+ years of operational experience with Web servers, including IIS and Tomcat
4+ years of experience with SQL databases (preferably SQL Server), including sound knowledge of SQL
3+ years of Workflow and BPM experience
2+ Java Application Server administration experience (JBOSS)
LDAP & SSO integration experience
Web Service integration experience
Knowledgeable about application integration technologies including messaging and web services
