Senior Software Engineer
Primary responsibilities:
Define new assigned features according to product requirement document.
Design the software product specifications.
Develop, debug, and test the software products by using Microsoft or other development tools.
Provide documented information to Test Engineering for test procedure development and product testing.
Provide documented information to Technical Writing for Help files development.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline; a combination of education and strong work experience may substitute for degree.
7 years minimum experience in a commercial software development environment
3+ years experience with C#/.Net programming with Microsoft Visual Studio development environment
Ability to work effectively with the development staff, Marketing staff, QA staff, and the Technical Writing staff for specifications development, problem solving, testing, and documentation
3+ years experience with C++ programming is strongly preferred
Experience with WCF, WPF, WF, or COM interop is a strong plus
Knowledge of chromatography data management, mass spectrometry data management, instrument automation, and chemistry is a plus.
