Staff Software Engineer
Responsibilities include working as part of a team to deliver a great television experience on a myriad of devices ranging from televisions and set top boxes to mobile devices and consumer electronics with the goal of improving our remote storage DVR.
Qualification/Skills (Know of the Job)Basic Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or related technical field
8 or more years of software development experience with at least 5 years working directly with remote storage devices
Preferred Qualifications:
MS in Computer Science or related technical field
Self-starter with the ability to pick up new technologies quickly
A strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, design patterns, and software engineering principles
UX experience
A positive and proactive attitude toward finding solutions, meeting commitments, and assisting others
A desire to work in a team environment to learn and to solve interesting and challenging problems
