Lead Software Engineer
Develop new test cases and maintain existing test cases for SAP based enterprise applications.
Receive direction from the development manager.
Provide assistance to other engineers on-site and off-site.
Provide assistance to customer support, documentation and development as needed.
Participate in the manual and acceptance testing of different user stories.
Ensure that proper security requirements are met and thoroughly tested.
Work with teams to meet scalability and performance expectations.
What it takes:
Strong experience in testing enterprise applications built on SAP platform
Proven experience testing software in a business environment
Excellent problem solving skills
Excellent ability to learn new technologies quickly
Strong Scripting skills
Experience with ABAP and automation using QTP will be added advantage
Experience with OpenText Content Server is considered an asset
Experience with WebReports and/or ActiveView is considered an asset
Familiarity with source code and test case control systems is considered an asset.
Experience in setting up virtual environments with VMWare is an asset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Positive and professional attitude
Education / Experience:
Computer Science or related engineering degree or equivalent experience
6+ years of relevant experience.
