Sr. Software Engineer (.Net)
Essential Job Duties
Lead and identify development tasks using Jira Agile
Code features using C# / .NET MVC / Entity Framework / LINQ
Develop database stored procedures using T-SQL
Work on database schema
Deploy production and staging code to appropriate environments
Help develop unit tests and QA plans
Review and evaluate application work flow and user experience
Plan and execute testing to ensure the program meets the specified requirements
Mentor less experienced team members where needed to improve cross-function of the department
Work with user/customer community to capture system requirements
Create project plans and communicates status and issues
Provide on-call support on a rotating basis
Bachelors Degree OR 5+ yrs experience with .NET development in C#
3+ yrs experience of front end web application development
3+ years experience with Object Oriented Design
3+ years experience converting user specifications into detailed technical solutions
5+ years experience with a relational database technology (SQL Server, MySQL, DB2, or Oracle)
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years experience with Microsoft BI tools, such as SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Power Pivot, and Excel Pivot tables
1+ years experience using MVC
2+ years work experience in Agile methodology, preference in Scrum
1+ years working with continuous integration tools like Bamboo and Octopus Deploy
