Senior Java Software Engineer
Job Responsibility:
Engage and influence Product Management to specify the best product within engineering constraints;
Collaborate with different teams, involved in the entire life cycle from prototype, design and implementation of a performance-oriented, scalable and maintainable our Content data platform and cloud services to improve our infrastructure;
Drive excellence and task delivery by leveraging agile methodology with local and offshore teams to deliver projects on schedule;
Code daily using excellent coding habits, produce quality design documents, disciplined unit/integration testing and cultish commitment to code and process quality;
Requirement:
Bachelors or Masters’ degree in Computers Science or related field;
Extensive software design and hands-on development skills/experience in J2SE/J2EE with a track record of shipping multiple releases (over 3 years);
Expert knowledge in Java, Hadoop/Spark, PostgreSQL/MySQL and Linux. Solid knowledge and experience in at least two of the following areas: mass data processing, Lucerne/Solr, data mining, SOA sand Web development;
Good communication skills, both written and oral English;
Superior disciplined coding skills – Java expert level, ability to produce production ready code with minimal supervision;
Outstanding analytical and trouble shooting skills. Quick-learning, self-motivated, and a no-whining attitude;
Experience with GIS tool, like QGIS, ArcGIS is a plus;
Experience of AWS, Ali cloud is a plus;
Experience of using script language such as python, shell is a plus;
